Santa Claus Parade, Holiday Market, Tree Lighting, Free Skate, Santa Pictures, Food and More!

Date: Sunday, November 17, 2024
Time: 3 to 6 p.m.
Cost: FREE! Suitable for all ages.

Event Schedule:
3 to 4 p.m. - Santa Claus Parade from Civic Centre to Sports Complex.
3 to 6 p.m. – Holiday Market and Free Skating at Sports Complex.
4:15/4:30 to 5:15 p.m. – Santa Pictures in Canada Hall A at Sports Complex.
5:30 p.m. – Tree Lighting with Mayor and Council
6 p.m. – Event Closes

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Mount Albert Road will be closed at 2:30 p.m. from the Civic Centre (Leslie St) to the Sports Complex (Woodbine Ave). Please expect limited parking and traffic delays in the area. Come early!

Santa Claus Parade

Santa Claus is coming to town! Join us on Sunday, November 17 at 3 p.m. for the EG Santa Claus Parade. The parade begins at the Mount Albert Road and Leslie Street (19000 Leslie Street in front of the Civic Centre) and ends at the Sports Complex (1914b Mount Albert Road). Gather your family and friends and prepare to be dazzled by the festive floats, marching bands, and, of course, the one and only Santa Claus.

• Remember to bring letters to Santa for collection from Canada Post along the parade route.
• Parade attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items, and new, unwrapped, toys for the Food & Toy Drive which will be collected along the parade route. Food items will be collected for the Holland Landing Food Pantry. 
• Dress warmly for the weather. Parking is extremely limited; please plan accordingly and refer to Town posted signage.

Start your holiday shopping early with EG's Holiday Market and grab something unique for the special people in your life. The Holiday Market runs from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 17 at the EG Sports Complex (1914b Mount Albert Road).

This is the perfect opportunity to explore local crafts, artisanal goods, and delicious treats. Whether you’re looking for one-of-a-kind gifts or delicious holiday treats, you’re sure to discover something special to make your holidays even more memorable.

Tree Lighting and Free Skate

Join Mayor and Council for our official holiday Tree Lighting which begins at 5:30 p.m. in front of the EG Sports Complex (1914b Mount Albert Road).

Enjoy a free skate from 3 to 6 p.m. on the New Roads Pad. Please check in at Sports Complex Customer Service for your wristband to access the Public Skate. The EG Fire and Emergency Services will be there, along with Sparky!
