Council appointed Mark Valcic as the new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the Town of East Gwillimbury, effective June 19, 2023. Mark has worked for the Town since 2009 and previously was the Deputy CAO, General Manager of Corporate Services, and Treasurer. Prior to his time with the Town, Mark worked with several public sector organizations including Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority and the Simcoe Country District School Board.
