Hydrant Flushing September 13 and 14

The Town of East Gwillimbury will be conducting hydrant flushing in the neighbourhood North of Doane Road/West of Leslie Street today and tomorrow during business hours. Residents may notice lower water pressure, discolouration, or changes in the taste or smell of water. The streets who may be impacted include:

The Town of East Gwillimbury officially awarded the contract for the construction of the Health and Active Living Plaza to Aquicon Construction Co. Ltd. at the September 7, 2022, Council meeting. Construction of the 85,000 sq. ft. facility in Queensville, near Leslie Street and Jim Mortson Drive, will take place over approximately 26 months and is slated to begin in October...

EG Mayor offers condolences on the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II

On behalf of the Town of East Gwillimbury, Town Council and East Gwillimbury residents, I offer our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family on the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.  

The Queen was Canada’s longest reigning Sovereign with more than 70 years of service to the country. 

Flags at all Town facilities will be flown at half-mast in recognition of the Queen’s decades of service and dedication to Canada and to countries world-wide.A book of condolences will also...
