Mayor Virginia Hackson, members of Council and Town staff offer their sincerest condolences to the family and friends of former Town Councillor Frank Kelly who passed away on July 27, 2022, in his 94th year.

“Former Councillor Kelly served the residents of East Gwillimbury for many years. His dedication to East Gwillimbury extended far beyond his work as a Councillor as he was also an active volunteer in our community.” says Mayor Virginia Hackson.

East Gwillimbury’s Tapestry of Taste (TOT) presented by The Rice Group event is ready to make a comeback in 2022!

TOT 2022 will take place on Friday, August 12 from 6 to 10 p.m., and Saturday, August 13 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., at 19000 Leslie Street, Sharon.

This will be the ultimate event that will connect the community through Arts, Culture, Food and Heritage. TOT provides a place for everyone who would like to join, and allows everyone to express their identity and themselves at our event...

The Town of East Gwillimbury is excited to celebrate the official opening of the Oriole Trail Bridge and Boardwalk. The 306-meter wooden boardwalk, located between Oriole Drive and Doane Road connects residents located in west Holland Landing to Town facilities and amenities, such as the Holland Landing Community Centre and Anchor Park, which are located across the bridge in east Holland Landing.
