EG's mosquito control program has begun. The program consists of the application of a biological larvicide (VectoBac 200G [PCP#18158, granular formulation]), by helicopter, to standing water mosquito breeding habitats within the Town. Due to the infestation of Lymantria Dispar Dispar (LDD) within East Gwillimbury, the Town will be giving away one piece of burlap per household, beginning Friday, April 8, 2022, while supplies last. Information sheets on proper install and use of burlap bands will be available.

The Town of East Gwillimbury is making updates to the Holland Landing splash pad. We are working to improve drainage and uneven surfaces on the splash pad surface.
The playground and park will remain open, during construction, and the splash pad will open sometime in June.
Park users should be aware that the asphalt path connecting Holland Landing Park to Beckett Avenue is partially blocked; please go around the construction fencing to access the park.
