The tragic accident that claimed the life of a young teen yesterday in Mount Albert is devastating. Any life lost in our community is a loss for all.
On behalf of all Members of Council and staff at the Town of East Gwillimbury, I extend my deepest sympathies to the family, friends and to our community during this most difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone mourning this terrible accident.

Starting Wednesday September 22, 2021, all visitors to community centres including the East Gwillimbury Sports Complex, Ross Family Complex and Holland Landing Community Centre will need to either print or download their vaccination receipt from the government website until an “enhanced” certificate becomes available on October 22, 2021. Visitors to the East Gwillimbury Civic Centre will not be required to provide proof of vaccination.

Representatives from Evans Supply Limited will be visiting homes next week on behalf of the Town to deliver reminder notices as part of the Town’s water meter replacement program. If you do not receive a notice, you do not need to replace your water meter. Staff going door-to-door will be wearing identification from the Town.
If you receive a notice to replace your water meter, appointments can be scheduled weekdays as available and Saturday between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.....
