October 14 - Pop-up Vaccination Clinic in EG

York Region is hosting a walk-in Pop-up COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic on Thursday, October 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the East Gwillimbury Sports Complex
The clinic is offering first and second doses of Moderna (for individuals 25 years old and up) and Pfizer (for individuals 12 years old and up).  For more information, visit York.ca/COVID19Vaccine

Effective October 3 at 11:59 p.m., Mayor Virginia Hackson, on behalf of Town Council, will terminate the State of Emergency for the Town of East Gwillimbury. The State of Emergency was initially enacted on March 19, 2020, to ensure the Town has the flexibility to quickly respond to the COVID-19 health and economic emergency and provide support to our residents and businesses where needed.

York Region Issues Letter of Instruction for Sport Facilities

Letter of Instruction has been released from York Region’s Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Karim Kurji, that effective October 1, 2021, all persons aged 12 and older, including those playing, coaching, and spectating organized sports must be fully vaccinated to limit the spread of COVID-19.
