Notice of Road Closure
York Region is improving the road surface and constructing a retaining wall on Yonge Street, south of Holland Landing Road. A road closure is necessary to accommodate the large equipment required to install anchors needed for the retaining wall and to ensure the safety of all travellers and construction crews. Following the anchor installation, the road will be re-opened for the remainder of construction, which is scheduled to be complete by late summer 2023.

Due to safety concerns, the bridge on the York/Durham line, located approximately 550 metres north of Zephyr Road and crossing Mount Albert Creek, will be closed until bridge repairs are completed. The road will be closed north of Durham Road 39 in the Township of Uxbridge to south of Ravenshoe Road in the Town of East Gwillimbury. Road Closure Notice
Yonge Street (YR51) will be closed from Old Yonge Street to Holland Landing Road/Old Yonge Street from 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2022.
