Burlap Giveaway at EGPL - Holland Landing Library Branch

Due to the increasing numbers of the Lymantria Dispar Dispar (LDD/ Gypsy Moth) within East Gwillimbury, the Town will be doing a free burlap giveaway at the EGPL - Holland Landing Library Branch (HLLB), beginning Tuesday, June 15, while supplies last.

Pick-up is available during their hours of operation:

• Tuesday & Thursday -  3 to 8 p.m.
• Wednesday, Friday & Saturday - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Residents can come to the front door of the HLLB during these hours and pick up burlap (1 per person). A staff...

Notices of Construction

Vivian Creek Park  

Construction will begin tomorrow, weather dependent, to improve drainage at the east end of the parking lot at Vivian Creek Park. There will be a fence placed around the construction area for safety.

Construction is only anticipated to last one day, and won't affect the park’s daily operation. Pedestrians will still be able to access the park and trails by passing around the fenced work zone.

Broadband Expansion Coming to EG!

(East Gwillimbury, ON) June 1, 2021 - On Friday, May 28th, the Government of Canada announced it is investing over $192,000 through the Universal Broadband Fund to bring high-speed Internet to residents of rural communities in East Gwillimbury and Vaughan in partnership with Bell.
