Preschool Programs Registration

For information about programs and registration, please check the Health and Active Living Guide.

Pre-registration is required for our Preschool Programs. Registration is available online on i-Reg, by calling 905-478-4282 or in-person at Customer Service at the EG Sports Complex (E.G.S.C.) or Civic Centre. 

Spring registration opens at 8:30 a.m. on March 27 for residents and April 3 for non-residents.

 Age Overrides
 If you require an age override, please contact Recreation Services to inquire about accommodations that can be made. Please note that some programs have strict age limits and we may not be able to provide an age override for all programs.

Our preschool programs offer a fun and engaging learning environment where little ones can explore, create and grow. With a focus on play-based learning, our programs provide opportunities for social interaction and physical activity. Join us for a world of fun and learning!

 Arts and Culture Icon Arts

Our preschool art and dance programs offer a creative and fun learning experience. Through engaging activities our young preschoolers will explore colours, shapes, movements, and music.

Program Reminders:

  • Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes
  • We encourage long hair to be tied back
 Sports Icon Sports

Our preschool sports programs offer a fun and engaging way for little ones to develop essential skills like coordination, teamwork, and discipline.

Program Reminders:

  • Please wear indoor non-marking shoes appropriate for your activity
  • Some programs may require parent participation, typically with a one-parent-per-child policy.
 Swimming Icon Swimming

In our Parent and Tot lessons, spend quality time with your child while you both have fun, learn and socialize. Our Preschool lessons give your child a head start on learning to swim through the Lifesaving Society Preschool Program that develops an appreciation and respect for the water.  To find out more, visit our Aquatics Page.

Preschool karate photo
Little Kickers Karate
This program involves children in basic self defense techniques and movements taught in Shotokan Karate. Sessions will be run by Black Belt instructors from Community Martial Arts, a member of the International Karate Association in a friendly, encouraging atmosphere.
