Effective April 1, 2021, the Town of East Gwillimbury (EG) transitioned to monthly water billing. Water meters will also be read monthly.

Benefits of monthly billing for customers

  • Smaller and more consistent bill amounts
  • Consumption is monitored more frequently, and benefits include:
    • Detecting potential leaks in the household earlier; saving water and money
    • Ability to monitor user habits and high fluctuations in usage

How do I sign up for pre-authorized payment?

The Town of EG offers a pre-authorized payment (PAP) plan for the payment of water and sewer bills. The full billed amount would be withdrawn on the bill due date (monthly).

To enroll, please complete our pre-authorized payment plan-water and sewer form.

Can I view my bills online?

All residents can now access their water accounts online to:

  • View account balances
  • View account transactions
  • View previous bill(s)

To register, you will need the 5-digit pin found on your water bill to login.
