The East Gwillimbury Sports Complex (EGSC) is located in Sharon, at 1914B Mount Albert Road, Sharon, between Woodbine Road and Leslie Street. This facility offers two ice pads that operate during the winter months and one during the summer months. If you would like to book ice, please visit our Arena Ice Rentals page for more information.

During summer months, one of the ice pads is removed and the arena floor is used for camps, programs and practices and is available to rent at an hourly rate. We also offer a meeting room and a large hall that includes a kitchen. You can find more details below.

NEW Environmental Feature at the EG Sports Complex - Electronic vehicle charging stations have been installed and are ready for community use.

Customer Service Hours 

EG’s Customer Service team is available at the Sports Complex to assist residents and visitors with Town programs and services. Visit the Customer Service desk for assistance:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Sunday: 3 to 7 p.m.

Hours of operation vary by season and Statutory holidays. The above hours are in effect starting September 28 until December 22, 2024. 

The team is also available at the Civic Centre (Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), by phone at 905-478-3826, or by email at leisure1@eastgwillimbury.ca. Residents can also report concerns online using the Customer Service Portal.

The Canada Hall is on the main floor and has an adjustable divider wall that can split this hall into two separate rooms for you to book. The Canada Hall has the following amenities:

  • Projectors and screens available in both sides (additional fee)
