Delivery/fixed charge

The delivery charges on your bill are a fixed rate that ensures when you turn on your taps, you receive clean and safe drinking water that is also taken away in the wastewater system once finished.

The charges also pay for:

  • Repair and replacement of infrastructure (pipes, pumping stations etc.)
  • Staff time (to conduct inspections, maintain infrastructure etc.)
  • Treatment of water in the wastewater system
