Fair, Accessible, and Inclusive Recreation (FAIR EG) is a subsidy program created by the Town to provide an opportunity for everyone to participate in our recreation services. The discount provided is based on the number of members in a household, as well as household income on a sliding scale.

  FAIR EG - Older Adults

In addition to our general Fair, Accessible, and Inclusive Recreation (FAIR EG) subsidy program mentioned above, The Town of East Gwillimbury also provides this support to our Older Adult population. 

This subsidy program was designed to remove financial barriers, promote inclusiveness, and provide accessible recreational opportunities designed specifically for our older adult population.

  York Region Subsidy Programs

York Region offers assistance to low income individuals/families. Subsidies that are available include:

• Positive Leisure Activities for Youth (PLAY)
• Summer day camp funding
• Youth overnight camp funding

York Region works with each municipality based on their programs/camps availability, and cannot guarantee space in these services. To speak to someone directly, contact 1-877-464-9765 ext. 72070.
