East Gwillimbury (EG) offers a variety of programs and activities for people aged 55+ and is home to several seniors’ community groups. See how you can sign up for a program or get involved below. Recreational programs are a great way to stay fit, improve cognitive ability, and reduce stress. Local Older Adult Community Groups

East Gwillimbury has three older adult community groups for older adults to get involved, meet new people, and try something new in their home community. Each group offers community events and programs for everyone to participate in. Get engaged and learn more about what’s available below:

 Information Icon Golden Anchors Seniors Club

The Golden Anchor Seniors Club (GASC) is a members-based club that is open to all residents of East Gwillimbury who are 50 years of age and older. The Club hosts several daily activities including bingo, cards, special luncheon events, and many other functions at the Holland Landing Community Centre in the Golden Anchor Room. Non-members may attend and participate in Club activities with additional fees and exemptions. Learn more about GASC:
