Holland Landing Lagoons Decommissioning
For several years, York Region and the Town have been working together to decommission the Holland Landing Lagoons at 19932 2nd Concession (Cedar Street).

The Lagoons are no longer being used for daily operations and the likelihood for potential odours is greatly reduced.
Until the Lagoons are fully decommissioned in 2028, they will only be used in exceptional circumstances, such as extreme heavy rain, snow fall or operational needs that may cause the Lagoons to fill and require emptying.

While York Region does not anticipate the need to use the Lagoons often, use of Lagoons during exceptional circumstances may produce odours. In this event, residents and businesses will be notified by email. To sign up for email notifications and learn more, visit york.ca/HollandLandingLagoons
