Vivian Creek Trail Closure

EG, in partnership with the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority (LSRCA), are making improvements to Vivian Creek Park.

We are improving drainage and enhancing local wetlands and stream restoration along Vivian Creek, adjacent to the trail. The goal of the project is to redirect some of the excess drainage away from the trail system and into the newly constructed wetland features. The stream restoration is located adjacent to the existing trail system, where erosion is approaching the trail, and appears to be accelerated by the current drainage routes.

By protecting the trail and redirecting some of this drainage, the goal is to improve the trail for all users.
