Nomination Period Begins Next Week

If you are interested in running for office, nomination forms for the 2022 Municipal Election may be filed in person or by an agent with the Returning Officer as of Monday, May 2, 2022, during regular business hours and by appointment only. EG Sports Complex COVID-19 Booster Clinic

Public Meeting Woodbine Ave. Rezoning
A public meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 6 p.m. to discuss the zoning by-law amendments to the Woodbine Avenue development. Read more here.

2022 Property Taxes Due
2022 interim property tax bills were mailed by January 14, 2022. The second payment is due on April 29. Payments can be made at your bank, online/phone banking or through a pre-authorized payment plan. Learn more at

LDD Burlap Pick-up for caterpillars
EG is making one piece of free pre-cut burlap wrap available per household at various locations across EG while supplies last. Pick-up locations during regular operating hours are:

No Mow May
The Environmental Advisory Committee asks residents to help support pollinators this spring and avoid mowing lawns until June.
