Cannabis Production Facilities Public Meeting
Staff presented proposed updates regarding a Town-initiated Zoning By-law amendment to regulate cannabis production facilities in EG. Staff will report back to Council prior to early June with additional information that addresses comments received from members of the public and with an implementation recommendation. The Town of East Gwillimbury received awards from the Economic Developers Council of Ontario (EDCO) for its Highway 404 Employment Corridor Secondary Plan and from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its Financial Report for the year ending December 31, 2020. Nomination Period Begins Next Week
If you are interested in running for office, nomination forms for the 2022 Municipal Election may be filed in person or by an agent with the Returning Officer as of Monday, May 2, 2022, during regular business hours and by appointment only. 2022 Property Taxes Due

The Environmental Advisory Committee asks residents to help support pollinators this spring and avoid mowing lawns until June.
