East Gwillimbury’s 2025 Budget process is underway which includes a public presentation of the Town’s Business Plan, engagement opportunities and timeline of meetings.
As part of EG’s annual Business Plan and Budget process, residents and businesses are invited to review the Town's Business Plan and Budget page to learn more about EG’s budgeting process. An online survey has launched and will be open until November 27, 2024. Residents and businesses are encouraged to provide feedback, which is shared with staff and Council, and will help inform the 2025 Budget.
About EG’s Business Plan and Budget
The Business Plan and Budget are guided by the Town's Strategic Plan.
Multi Year - Council develops the Strategic Plan to guide the direction of the town for the 2022-2026 term of Council. It provides overall direction to guide decisions, projects, and initiatives during the term.
Annually - Staff integrate the strategic priorities into the Annual Business Plans and Budgets. This annual review ensures that work plans are aligned with Council’s strategic priorities.
Weekly/Daily - Departmental and individual work plans define the specific steps that staff take to advance strategic objectives and measure progress while ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
Community input and priorities are considered as a part of the planning process.
