Emergency Services Assessment - The Towns of EG and Georgina worked together to update their individual Fire Master Plans and conduct a review of the two departments. The review concluded that both communities are well served by their existing departments and recommended a number of potential shared service opportunities, such as fleet/ equipment maintenance. Notice of Completion Application
The Town of East Gwillimbury has deemed the Draft Plan of Subdivision and Zoning By-law Amendment to rezone the lands at the northeast corner of 2nd Concession and Doane Road from rural to various residential zones complete. This plan will facilitate the development of 344 residential units including 217 single-detached units and 134 townhouse dwelling units as well as a stormwater management pond, park, woodlot, valleyland and associated buffers.
