Committee of the Whole Council – 10 a.m.
Two Development Services memos were on the agenda.
A joint report from Engineering and Public Works and Parks, Recreation and Culture (PRC) was shared, seeking approval to assume the public works and services in the Valmaderra Holdings Corp. Phase 1 Subdivision.
PRC also brought forward two memos; one regarding an easement near the Nokiidaa Trail, and another regarding an agreement with Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority to enter into a Monitoring Plot Agreement.

Civic Centre Closure
The Civic Centre will be closed on Monday, February 17 for Family Day. If you have an emergency with regards to water, sewers, or roads, please call 905-478-4282 and press option 3. Bridge Construction York Durham Line Bridges 113 and 114
Bridge construction on York Durham Line bridges 113 and 114 will begin mid-February! Last week, the contractor began mobilizing onsite, with construction expected to begin in mid-February. The contractor will begin by completing activities that are not weather dependent. Bridge construction work is expected to occur throughout the year, with the bridge’s reopening planned for Spring 2026. Learn more at eastgwillimbury.ca/InfrastructureProjects.
East Gwillimbury Farmers Market
The EG Farmers Market is looking for vendors! We are looking for businesses, farmers, community groups, not-for-profit organizations, youth entrepreneurs, and food trucks to join our 2025 season. The 2025 interim tax bills have been mailed. Due to the Canada Post strike, you may receive your bills late. Calling all EG residents! EG is offering a snow removal grant to residents aged 65 and older or those with disabilities. Space is limited. Family Fun Day
