2022 PROPOSED WATER AND WASTEWATER BUDGET

Staff are presenting the 2022 proposed water and wastewater budget to Council on January 18 at 6 p.m. The proposed budget includes a rate freeze for 2022 for fixed and variable charges.

Christmas Tree Pick-up - Christmas tree pick-up occurs the week of January 11 to 14, 2022 on your regular collection day. Winter Parking Reminders - During winter weather residents are asked to give our EG road crews a hand with snow clearing operations by:
• Keeping vehicles off roads when it’s snowing
• Following the three-hour parking limit
• Not parking on roads between 2 to 6 a.m.
• Ensuring vehicles do not overhang onto sidewalks or roads when parked

COVID-19 Updates

Transit to Vaccination Appointments Available - York Region Transit (YRT)’s Mobility On-Request ride-sharing service can take you to your vaccination appointment.
 
YRT has recently expanded its service in East Gwillimbury to bring residents of all ages to their vaccine appointments. Each rider will pay a fare. Residents under the age of 18 requiring a vaccine can travel with an adult to the vaccination clinic or pharmacy.
 
To book a trip, call 1-866-744-1119 on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. For weekend appointments, please call on the Friday prior to that weekend. For more information, visit www.yrt.ca
