Council highlights from the May 10, 2022, meeting
Official Plan Review Update
Staff hosted a statutory public meeting to seek feedback from members of the public and Council on the draft updated Official Plan (OP). The draft updated OP is being finalized based on feedback received and is scheduled to be brought back to Council for adoption in late June. Members of the project team are also attending upcoming Town events, including the Farmers Market Grand Opening and Community Open House to collect feedback. Nomination Period is Open
If you are interested in running for office, nomination forms for the 2022 Municipal Election may be filed in person or by an agent with the Returning Officer during regular business hours and by appointment only. Farmers Market Grand Opening
Join us on Thursday, May 19, at 2 p.m. for our Farmers Market Grand Opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony. The market takes place every Thursday, from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Civic Centre.
EG Sports Complex COVID-19 Booster Clinic

Community Clean Up

The Environmental Advisory Committee asks residents to help support pollinators this spring and avoid mowing lawns until June.
