Notice of Bridge and Road Closure - Queensville Sideroad

The safety of roads and bridges in East Gwillimbury is a top priority. Due to unforeseen circumstances and damage, the bridge on Queensville Sideroad, located approximately 100 metres east of Highway 48, crossing Mount Albert Creek, requires an emergency closure effective Monday, October 28. Queensville Sideroad will be closed at Highway 48 in the Town of East Gwillimbury. Local access to private properties and businesses will remain open from Centre Street west towards the bridge closure.

Bridge replacement is anticipated to occur over the next 12 to 18 months.

Waste collection services by GFL will not be affected and will continue as scheduled for this area on Tuesdays.
