Road Work Ahead

York Region is completing construction starting June 17 and the first phase will be completed in October, 2024. 

 

Notice of construction from Highway 11 to Green Lane to the Bradford Boundary

Road improvements

  • Removing and replacing the road surface
  • Replacing storm sewers and catch basins
  • Building a multi-use path and installing new
  • lighting on the east side of the road from
  • Morning Sideroad to the commercial plaza
  • Upgrading the church and commercial plaza intersection to meet Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act requirements

Impacts to Travellers:

The road will remain open to through traffic, however, lane restrictions are required to safely complete this work.
Access to homes and businesses will be maintained.
Lane reductions limited to:

  • Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Weeknights from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for major works such as paving

As with all road construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance
notice where possible.
