Notice of Road Closure

York Region is improving the road surface and constructing a retaining wall on Yonge Street, south of Holland Landing Road. A road closure is necessary to accommodate the large equipment required to install anchors needed for the retaining wall and to ensure the safety of all travellers and construction crews. Following the anchor installation, the road will be re-opened for the remainder of construction, which is scheduled to be complete by late summer 2023. 

Duration:

  • Monday, March, 13 2023 to Friday, May, 19 2023

Impacts to Travellers: 

  • During the road closure, local traffic will be permitted to access the Holland Landing Airpark travelling north along Yonge Street from Highway 11 but will not be permitted to cross the work zone
  • All other traffic is not permitted
