Overnight Road Closure on Leslie Street

An overnight road closure is now required to construct a concrete median island on Leslie Street, north of Green Lane. The closure will begin at 11 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023, until 4 a.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023. Road signs will be installed in advance of the road closure.

Project Description:

• York Region is replacing a culvert
• Culverts allow water and wildlife to pass freely under the road

Impacts to travellers:

• The road will remain open to through traffic in both directions; however, temporary lane reductions may be required during the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday
• Working hours take place from Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
