An application has been made to remove a Holding Symbol (H1) from 16 lots located on Crimson King Way, Whippletree Drive, and Dogwood Boulevard within Phase 3B of the Kerbel Subdivision (19T-90015) in Holland Landing.
Council may apply a holding provision when approving a zoning by-law amendment to delay development until the conditions of the holding provision are met. The Holding Symbol was applied to these lands when the subdivision (19T-90015) was draft approved to be lifted only once. “The Region and the Town have confirmed that servicing allocation is available, and that the Town has allocated sufficient capacity to this development.” The Town has received confirmation from York Region that the requirements for lifting the Holding Provision have been met and the applicant has submitted a request to have the hold removed.
The earliest date that Council will meet to consider passing an amending by-law to formally remove the H1 is October 17, 2023.
