Road Closure - York Durham Line

Due to safety concerns with the bridge across the Mount Albert Creek, York/Durham Regional Rd. #30 will be closed on Thursday, January 20 until bridge repairs are completed. The closure takes place north of Durham Reg. Rd. 39 in the Township of Uxbridge and north of Queensville Sideroad and south of Holborn Road in East Gwillimbury. A map of the detour route is below, and access to homes will be maintained throughout the closure. 

Detour Route 

The Town of East Gwillimbury and the Township of Uxbridge are jointly undertaking the project to replace the bridge. Bridge engineering design will take place in 2022 and bridge replacement is anticipated to occur through 2023 and 2024.
