A look back - Workshop – September 17, 2024
The Development Services department led a Workshop, delivering important information on the Bylaw, Building, and Planning branches, and the services that they deliver. Watch the video.

Guided Walking Tour of Rogers Reservoir Conservation
Join the Active Transportation and Trails Committee and the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority on September 26 from 5 to 6 p.m. for a guided walking tour of the Rogers Reservoir Conservation Area. Learn about the history of the reservoir and surrounding community of Holland Landing as well as the various projects that have occurred throughout the property over the years with a focus on the historic lock system and canals. Fire Prevention Open House
Join the Fire and Emergency Service team on September 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Queensville Fire Station, 1590 Queensville Sideroad, for the Fire Prevention Open House! Learn about Smoke Alarms and how to make them work for you. Enjoy a FREE BBQ, truck tours, door prizes and more!
Shuttles to and from the event will be available throughout the day at:
The first shuttle will leave at 9 a.m. from the EG Sports Complex and then travel to the Queensville and 404 Park and Ride. The estimated time per trip will be 30 minutes. Wild Rice Exhibit
Wild rice, known in Ojibwe as Manoomin, is a wild grass that grows annually and produces a very valuable grain that the First Nation has used for millennia.
