About the Program

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact that it's had on our community and local businesses, the Town of East Gwillimbury developed the EG Loves Local initiative. As part of this initiative, The Town of East Gwillimbury Chamber of Commerce partnered together on a local gift box program. This program offers opportunities to our local businesses to reach a wider local market and to improve access to local good to our residents throughout the closures. Over the past year, the program has supported over 20 businesses and has generated over $15,000 in direct support to these businesses.
